Assistant Manager

Salsa Bar & Grill is seeking an experienced and professional Assistant Manager to join our front-of-house team. This is a full-time position for a hospitality professional who can lead service, deliver exceptional guest experiences, and ensure smooth operations across the restaurant.

The Role

• Run front-of-house service and manage bookings efficiently

• Perform maître d’ duties, including guest relations and table management

• Train and mentor floor staff to maintain high service standards

• Liaise seamlessly between kitchen, bar, and floor to ensure smooth, efficient service

• Maintain operational standards, health and safety compliance, and overall presentation

The Role

• Casual position with competitive pay rate

• Mostly night shifts, approx 5 days per week

• Opportunity to move into permanent part-time within a couple of months

• Potential pathway into an Assistant Manager role for the right candidate

What You’ll Do

• Deliver polished, attentive service in a busy restaurant environment

• Take and serve food and beverage orders accurately

• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation

• Work closely with the bar and kitchen teams

Larder Chef

Salsa Bar & Grill is seeking an experienced Larder Chef to join our kitchen team. This role offers full-time hours on a casual rate, working in a high-quality, fast-paced restaurant environment.

Working under Head Chef Goran Zonai, this position provides outstanding opportunities for skill development, mentorship and career growth.

The Role

• Casual position with full-time hours

• Mainly evening service

• Prepare and execute larder section to a high standard

• Maintain consistency, cleanliness and food safety standards

• Work closely with the senior kitchen team during service
