Section Waiter

A permanent – part time position of 30 hours is available for the right applicant. This position is only open to experienced section waiters living / working in the Port Douglas and Mossman area.

If you:

  1. hold a current QLD RSA
  2. live in the Douglas Shire
  3. have worked as a section waiter in a fast-paced, professional restaurant environment previously
  4. have enthusiasm and a sense of humour
  5. are keen to join an awesome team for a minimum of 6 months

Sous Chef

We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Sous Chef to join our high performing team. If you’re seeking to commit to a career with Port Douglas’ most awarded restaurant, possess a genuine passion for the industry, have a love for the tropics and the fresh local produce on offer then we want to hear from you!

Requirements:
– Full unrestricted Australian work rights
– Sous Chef qualification, minimum 4 years experience in similar role
– Prior experience in a busy à la carte restaurant
– Professional credentials
– Strong knife skills and plating experience
– Prior experience working in a hi-tech kitchen
– Ability to “job share” through all sections
– Commitment to ongoing professional development
– Ability to handle high-stress situations
